Pre-Code Classic: Love Me Tonight

This racy, upscale 1932 musical stars Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald (aka “The Lingerie Queen of the Talkies”) and boasts an exceptional score by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. A Parisian tailor poses as a baron to collect a sizeable bill from an aristocrat, and ends up falling in love with an aloof young princess. The great supporting cast includes Myrna Loy in her breakthrough role and Charles Ruggles.

Pasatiempo author and Renesan regular Mark Tiarks will offer a 25-minute introduction, followed by a screening of the 105-minute film.

Coffee and pastries from La Rana Coffee and classic movie theater concessions from Sky Midtown will be available in the lobby.
