The Babushkas of Chernobyl tells the remarkable story of three unlikely heroines who choose to live in the most toxic place on Earth. Soon after the catastrophic disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, a small group of resilient grandmothers defied government orders and returned to their ancestral homeland, building a loyal community and sustaining friendships inside the Dead Zone. Now decades later, did they make the right choice?
